The Bird is the messenger between two worlds, between heaven and earth, the mediator between the human and spirit and serves to represents the cosmic rhythms that sets the currents of life into motion. In these paintings they carry messages of new possibilities and new perceptions and the joining of the old and the new images and concepts.
The symbol of the Bird in my paintings has aided in me making sense of my life and its many
changes. The Bird, as myself is the carrier of the Seeds of Light and together we carry the messages of a new awareness of the underlying a cosmic reality holding up the physical appearance of this world.
Through the process of creating and painting these images of Bearers of the Seeds of Light I was able to integrate the new and the old within myself. These paintings are a visual testament of renewal and reintegration, the remaking of myself and finding a place to stand in truth.
