“Painting is the greatest method for representing the world in the process of transformation and interaction for capturing the essential beauty of landscape(waterscape) dynamic forms the eternal activity of creation, the successions of day & night and the seasons.”
Shih-T’ao Chinese painter 1642-1707
I have a story to tell, of my most recent paintings the images range from the Red Moon rising to One Hundred Thousand Waves in the Sunlight, of the lunar orb’s nectar pouring into Lake Huron and of dark water’s undercurrents.
These paintings of water and moon are images that rebirth the ancient myths of old into a new into a new from. They make visible the patterns and rhythms of the cosmos that connect and embed us in a sacred cosmic order.
With my paintings I seek to go deeper, to remind myself and the viewer that we are all united in a universal , eternal oneness.
